Today, Tobey and I did some rather interesting activities. In the morning, we did a craft project: painting a train.

Then in the afternoon, we ventured out into the hot weather to play with sidewalk chalk. Tobey can count pretty good for a two-year-old, but he doesn't know what written numbers look like. So I wrote them out on the driveway, and we practiced counting while walking on the numbers.

| He insisted I draw a green T as well. |
Another thing we did was play with playdoh, and of course, Tobey wanted to make trains. But today he was making up different kinds of trains to make. He heard me tell Penny that she was a grump today, and he started saying to Penny, "Hey grump dog! Grumpy dog, Penny..." So he called his train the "Grump Dog Train." Then TruGreen came to weed control our yard so he called his next train the "TruGreen Train". He also made a "dog train" complete with tail.
