I'm so thankful that we got to meet up with my best friend Karen and her family before their big move to the UK.  Too bad Tobey and Gave are just becoming buddies now.  Miss you and love you, Karen!  Hope to see you on the other side of the pond sometime!

The Knights of Columbus sent us the other pictures that they took of us with Santa.  Poor Jonah Bear!

Our church always does pictures with Santa as a fundraiser on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  One of the parishioners is a Santa look-alike.  So we took the boys, and Tobey had no problems going right up to Santa and telling Santa what he wanted (an orange garbage truck and a hot wheels playset).  Jonah, on the other hand, was terrified.  But that being said, I'm not sure that he would have sat on anyone's lap at that moment.  I love how we can see a tear coming down his cheek in the second picture.  Classic.  Adam and I ended up in the pictures to keep the kid calm.

halloween 2013

This was seriously the most fun I've had on Halloween since I was a teenager.  It made me so happy to see how excited Tobey was to go trick-or-treating.  He is finally at the age that he understands what happens on certain holidays.  A couple of months ago, he requested to be a garbage truck (truck, not man) for Halloween.  After doing some internet research, I discovered that he was not the first and was able to model his costume after some I had found online.  Jonah was a bear because we always call him "bear".
